Scheduled Color Guard Events 2008

Here are the known events in which we will be participating in 2008.

January 19 - Baldwin Park H.S. History Day. We will set up a full encampment. We will drill, fire and lecture on life of the soldier.

February 17 - The annual George Washington Massing of Colors at Forest Lawn, L.A.

March 15 - History Day at Azuza Pacific Univ. We will set up a full encampment. We will drill, fire and lecture on life of the soldier.

May 17 - Torrance Armed Forces Day parade.

July 4 - Redlands 4th of July event and parade/ opening ceremonies of fireworks show. We will set up a full encampment. We will answer questions about the life of the soldier.

Nov 11 - Veterans day. The event at the FlaBob airport will probably be held on Sunday the 9th.

Dec. TBA - City of Redlands Christmas Parade. We will be lined up in first or second position.

The Color Guard took part in 12 major events: 5 parades, 3 memorial ceremonies, and 4 living history displays in 2007.
