Redlands SAR Speakers Bureau The Redlands Chapter Sons of the American Revolution Speakers Bureau provides Historical, Educational, and Patriotic Programs and Classroom Presentations on topics such as:
The Battle of Bunker Hill Boston in 1775 The Boston Massacre British Reconnaissance in the Countryside around Boston The Defense of Canada Campaign The Battle of Saratoga Sullivan's Expedition The Battle of Kings Bridge Researching Your Patriot Ancestors Washington's Life Guard Flags of the Revolutionary War Additional programs are being developed covering the signers of the Constitution, the Evolution of Old Glory, Significant Battles of the Revolutionary War, and many other historical subjects. Our presentations can be modified to fit the time allocated. Our speakers wear a colonial period uniform. The uniform always gets attention and adds to the presentation. We do not charge a fee for speaker bureau services, we only ask that you consider making a tax deductible donation as you feel may be appropriate. All donations should be payable to Redlands SAR and not to the individual speaker. The SAR only facilitates the contacts between the speakers and the groups addressed. The speakers speak as individuals and their views do not necessarily reflect or represent the position of the Sons of the American Revolution. The Redlands Chapter Sons of the American Revolution has been serving the Inland Empire Corridor and High Desert Since 1992. SAR is a patriotic, philanthropic organization of adult male descendants of someone who served the nation in its development during the Revolutionary War period. The SAR, as a historical, educational, and patriotic organization, seeks to maintain and extend: The institutions of American freedom, an appreciation for true patriotism, a respect for our national symbols, the value of American citizenship and the unifying force of e pluribus unum that has created, from the people of many nations, one nation and one people.
